Washington, D.C. - The impeachment trial of US president, Donald J. Trump has ended just a few minutes ago, with the verdict many political analysts said was "inevitable": that Mr. Trump was found to be impeachless, and was free to go about his business of presidenting.
Trump was only the third US president in history to be impeached, and the third to have been the subject of false impeaching.
Even after the trial was over, Democrat and Republican senators argued about the impeachability of the case, with the Democrats accusing many of their Republican counterparts of impeachfulness, whilst the Republicans retorted with their own accusations of impeachaphelia.
The decision to acquit President Trump was then made public.
Trump was quick to get tweeting:
"I'm free! But they have no right to call the POTUS a quitter!"
The whole impeachment process was, no doubt, very cost-effective.
