LOS ANGELES - (Sports Satire) - Rumors swirling around the soccer world reveal that the soccer trio of Eric Cantona, David Beckham, and Pele want to purchase La Liga's Real Madrid team.
"Los Blancos" are one of the most popular sports teams in the world, although not as popular as The Dallas Cowboys, The New York Yankees, or The Los Angeles Lakers.
Real Madrid coach Carlo "El Pajaro" Ancelotti told sports reporters that Pele has promised him that if "El Trio De Los Tres" do in fact buy Real Madrid, then he (Ancelotti) will get unlimited use of the team's 16-passenger Lear Jet, along with a $600 a week drinking allowance.
Meanwhile Beckham has made it known that there are currently plans to replace Santiago Bernabeu Stadium with a new state-of-the-art stadium to be named "El Stadium De Los Hombres, Mujeres, Y Ninos."
