Paul is 80, and he says he has been a fan of the Man U Red Devils for 75 years.

HOLLYWOOD - (Sports Satire) - Sporting Chance Magazine senior writer Hercules Confetti has just broken the story that a member of the most successful and greatest band in music history has expressed a desire to purchase the Manchester United soccer team.

Paul McCartney of the Beatles says that growing up as a little tyke in Liverpool he became a big fan of the Man U Red Devils.

He actually attended several games when they played against Liverpool and remembers cheering his lungs out for the Manc team.

The Octogenarian says that he now has the money to buy the team and his goal (no pun intended) is to lure several of the world's greatest soccer players such as Eric Cantona, Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, and Antonio Conte.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
