LOS ANGELES – With most of the country now being ordered to shelter-in-place, many families are turning to watching more and more television.
Reports are that sales of TV dinners have gone up by 600%, and most furniture stores report that they have completely sold out of TV trays.
Netflix states that they have had to put on a third shift to meet the demands for new service. Sales rep, Rhiannon Bixby, said that the company is having to hire individuals who can speak at least seven languages.
She added that, as well as the phrase “Press 2 for Spanish”, they have now added twenty-two more, including “Press 8 for Norwegian, Press 13 for Guatemalan, and Press 19 for Swahili.”
Meghan and Harry spoke with a reporter with The Tinsel Town Times Tribune, and said that they are really into house-remodeling shows, cupcake-making shows, and liposuction shows.
But Meghan said that they have just started watching reruns of the 50s hit “Leave It To Beaver.”
She said that Harry and her wondered why in the world any well-meaning parents would give their son a nickname like “Beaver”.
Harry stated that he was surprised to see June Cleaver doing the housework while dressed in a fancy dress, six-inch stiletto high heels, and a pearl necklace that looks like it weighed half a pound.
Meghan pointed out that June’s husband, Ward, wears the same gray sweater, even if the temperature outside is in the mid 90s.
The FCC has stated that, due to thousands of complaints, the show’s name will soon be changed to “Leave It To Beave”.
