Cattle branding goes back to the days of Attila The Hun.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - (World Satire) - PETA has just announced that Argentina has just voted to ban the age old habit of branding cattle with a branding iron that is hotter than hell.

A spokesperson for PETA (People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals) said that it took 14 months, but they finally were able to convince the Argentinian government that branding cattle is an extremely mean and cruel part of the cattle business world.

The president of Argentina Alberto "Beto" Fernandez said that he received thousands of letters, emails, texts, and phone calls saying that there was an independent group of individuals called "Los No No's" and they were going to be singling out members of the president's family to brand.

PETA was successful and so now cattle branding in Argentina is strictly prohibited.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
