At present we see The Court being consistently, crazy - destroying Legal Precedent, and making up Law as it goes along - for political reasons.
The first real sign of Supreme Court Craziness was in Jan. of 2010, in the 'Citizens United Case' - when the Majority Court decided that Corporations, a Human Invention to make Money - had the same rights as a Human Being.
Maybe eventually, Super Computers will be ruled to be human beings, by The Court.
This Court is detached from Reality - anything is possible.
Your car can't give political donations, to help or defeat a political candidate. but your grocery store can. Your university also can't give a donation. But Super Rich Corporations can.
So, the Corporations that have plenty of cash for Politicians at election time. are allowed to give Election Money - for or against a candidate.
And there was No protest from our Elected politicians when the Supreme Court gave Corporations the Rights of a Human Being.
Now, Flash forward to 2022 - Basically Corporations rule the country with their Voting Money - they get pro-corporate mayors, governors, Presidents, congressmen and Supreme Court Justices into office.
You cannot be elected President without Corporate Cash.
They make Governors compete - and the winning Governor pays a huge amount of taxpayer money for their New Factories - to be put in his state. (Funding often comes out of Social Services tax money).
We have a Corporate-ocracy.
The only time they can lose if someone politically savvy but Crazy comes along, such as Donald Trump.
The Workers, desperate under the Corporate Yoke, rebel and make such a Demagogue President.
But their victory is short, as unlimited Corporate Cash, bedazzles even people like Trump - and they regain control.
And the Evangelicals mostly millionaires and businessmen - are natural Allies. The like Big Business running the country.
So, Thanks a Lot - Supreme Court Conservatives in 2010 - for setting us on the Path to an Ever-Greater Conservative America.
And you can rely on the current Supreme Court, (shall we say Constitutionally Delusional), with Abortion and Gay Rights Rulings, to shove us further down the road to Conservative Greatness.
Is that really Blessing America? Or have you Ruined America?
