SACRAMENTO - In a move that many are calling gutsy, the California state senate has voted to keep President Trump's name off the November ballot.
The vote passed by an overwhelming margin of 197 to 3. State senator, Enrique Mintinlooper, told reporters that, instead of seeing the name Donald J. Trump in the Republican column, voters will simply see “The California State Hater”.
When the senator was asked if that was legal, he smiled and said, “Did you not hear that the vote was 197 to 3?”
He then told the reporter, “Son, the last time I checked, this was still America.”
He went on, “And yes, I know that Trump is slowly trying to turn our nation into Guatemala. But with him and Vice President 'Vanilla' Pence, both refusing to protect themselves, many Americans feel that it is just a matter of time before we see Nancy Pelosi taking the oath of the presidency.
Most networks, even Trump Central (aka Fox News) are starting to say that that thought isn’t really too far-fetched.
