TALLAHASSEE – As if the COVID-19 flu mess is not bad enough, officials with the Florida Hurricane Federation (FHF) are stating that the hurricane season is fast approaching.
Experts with the FHF say that a damn hurricane is bad enough, but now toss one on top of this C-19 pandemic, and the “Plywood State” could really face a catastrophic situation.
A life-long resident of Pensacola, noted that Floridians are a tough lot, who have weathered lots of hurricanes, alligator infestations, swarms of millions of mosquitoes, and even thousands of grouchy old folks from New York City.
One well-respected meteorologist, Rhett “Heat Wave” Sinatra, said that hurricanes are getting bigger and stronger, and he fears that a powerful category 5 hurricane could cause some of Florida to end up in Georgia.
Meanwhile, veteran hurricane expert, Elmer Gallawinkle, who has been correctly predicating Florida hurricanes for the past 37 years, says that he has already warned President Trump that either Hurricane Cinderella or Hurricane Socorro, will most probably make landfall smack dab on top of Mar-a-Lago.
President Trump reportedly texted him back and said, “It’s a hoax, you sound colluded to me, and furthermore, it is all a witch hunt.”
He then added, “And besides, before Mar-a-Lago was built, I stipulated to the architects, that I wanted my Florida mansion to be able to withstand, not only a 245 mph hurricane, but a direct hit from an ICBM (Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile) as well.
