Accused of being rigid, upright, and even a total buzz-kill, Cody Jameson of Nashville, Tennessee, decided to get serious about having some fun.
"I know I need to work on loosening up and having a good time," said Cody. "It won't be easy, but it's a priority, so I'm going to find a way to squeeze it into my schedule."
He emphasized, too, that, while relaxing and letting go has always made him anxious, he is willing to deal with whatever uncomfortable feelings might arise in the course of enjoying himself.
"Nothing good ever comes easily," he said. "But if anything good is going to come out of this at all, I'm going to have to put in the effort."
And, as with all challenging new endeavors, Cody anticipates a great many setbacks, and even abject failure, as he hones his fun-having skills, but he is determined not to let that deter him from his mission to find true delight in life.
"Persistence, persistence, persistence," he said. "This fun thing is going to happen for me, whatever it takes."
