The re-emergence of the Free the Nipple Campaign has really taken hold with Feminists around the world especially here in the states. Based on the idea that a woman's nipples are no more offensive than a man's nipples, it has sparked the demand for society to remove all ideas that a woman's body is sexual and even calls for this to be enforced by law.
Feminists from this campaign claim that "the only reason breasts are considered sexual is because so many straight men are attracted to them" and because of this, women are being exploited and persecuted unfairly. They further claim that this forced sexualization is a form of sexual harassment and should be prosecuted by the justice system as such and to the fullest extent possible.
"Women should be free to walk around topless anywhere they wish if they so choose and should not have to worry about straight men staring at them or cat-calling them. A woman's body should only be considered sexual if she gives specific permission for them to do so."
Various states have different punishments pertaining to sexual harassment and the Feminists supporters also blame this on the male dominated society. Another goal of this movement is to regulate sexual harassment regulations across the nation. They are also calling for reformation of sex education classes in schools as well as in the home, requiring boys to be taught that they have no right to consider a woman's breasts sexual should she choose to expose them. Failure to adhere to this would result in criminal charges up to, but not limited to, removal of the child from the home under the concept that the parents', the mother especially, failure to properly teach this ideal to their child/children is a form of child neglect and will only add to the already rampant issue of women's forced sexualization.
"Men staring at a woman's breasts is disgusting and completely out of line. Any man who is caught staring at a topless woman's breasts should be arrested for sexual harassment and gender discrimination."
