WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Senate has finally acted on part of the Immigration Bill and has voted to allow illegal aliens to carry guns but only if the guns are used for their own protection.
President Obama hurried to get this part of the bill passed due to the fact that it had been brought to his attention that too many illegal aliens were crossing into the United States and being fired on; mostly in Arizona.
The president stated that most of the shell casings that were found did not belong to law enforcement officers but to private citizens.
He stressed that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. He noted that research studies conducted by The Amalgamated Data Gathering Agency of his hometown of Chicago have shown that if people know that illegal aliens are armed then they will be less likely to shoot at them for fear of having their fire returned.
Critics of the new Immigration Gun Bill state that this new law could turn the U.S. southern border into a Wild West Circus.
The president replied not as long as our citizens obey the laws and let the various law enforcement agencies do their job.
SIDENOTE: The bill does state that bazookas and grenade launchers are still illegal and any illegal alien found to have either one of these weapons in his possession will have them immediately confiscated.
