A Hull man living in the Thai capital of Bangkok was said by friends to be "extremely upset with himself" this morning, after they found him at his apartment crying over some spilt milk.
The 'spilt mlk' the man was crying over, was from a 1-litre carton of Foremost full fat milk, and had been accidentally spilt as the man was pouring it onto his Corn Flakes.
Said the man, who was me:
"I'm not always fully awake at that time in the morning, but I've never actually allowed milk to escape the cereal bowl before. This is a big shock for me, and a harsh lesson, too."
The milk was later mopped up with an old rag I keep handy for just such an eventuality, and breakfast resumed, albeit with a 1-minute delay, which caused me to miss my bus.
Milk contains calcium, which is good for teeth and bones.
