A plughole earlier

A man and his wife had a horrifying experience whilst staying at a hotel in the Thai beach resort of Pattaya, when they made an astonishing discovery in the bathroom - a previous occupant's pubic hairs!

Myke Woodson, 53, had gone to the Apex Hotel in Pattaya, and paid for one of the 700-baht rooms, that are supposed to be of a better standard than the 400-baht rooms.

On first inspection, the room seemed fine. It was clean, tidy, smelt OK, and had clean towels. Woodson and his wife unpacked their bags, and settled in.

It was only when Mrs Woodson went into the bathroom for a shower that things turned significantly awry.

Having become wet, she applied shampoo to her hair, and then soap to her upper body, arms and face. It was only when she reached down to soap her legs, that she saw it - a plughole full of pubes! She tried to move them with her big toe, but the wiry critters seemed to be held in place by what was probably months of twirling around the plughole's frame. She summoned her husband:

He raced from the TV, and recoiled in horror at the pubic mass. He winced as he told us:

Indeed, there was so much of the tangled web of pubes, that the water could not escape, and was starting to fill the shower tray. Mrs Woodson took the only action she felt a 700-baht-per-night room rate warranted - she called Room Service, from where a 90-year-old woman appeared 5 minutes later.

This woman, armed with some kind of 'claw tool', looked knowingly and accusingly at Mr Woodson as she tugged the pubes this way and that, in her struggle to free them from their lair
