Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is in trouble again. Police raided his home in a search for drugs and discovered 66 pit bulls used for dog fighting and all of the associated equipment and tools. Vick denied knowledge of the animals or the fighting and attempted to blame family members who live at that property.
When asked about the dogs, several recovering from wounds obviously inflicted while fighting, Vick said this: "I don't know nothing about this. I don't never fight against these dogs. I don't never put on boxing gloves and get in the ring and hits these dogs. I don't never grab a dog by the throat with my teeth and shake it none. I don't know nothin bout that."
This is not the first time Vick has been in trouble with police or team officials. The Virginia Tech alumni flipped off fans last season. He also took a cup onto an airplane that had a secret compartment that smelled of marijuana. He has also settled lawsuits out of court that accused him of sleeping with women and knowingly passing on an STD.
When asked why anyone would keep 66 pit bull dogs at their home, VIck answered this way: "You sees, we gots lots of them dogs cuz we feels sorry for them and they ain't got homes, so we don't want em standing on street corners with signs and beggin, so we takes em in and feeds em. I don't never fights against these dogs. I don't know nothin bout that."
"The only thing I likes to beat up is New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys and such."
