Not a man to sit on the fence and muse for very long, one of rap's biggest stars, Dr. Dre, has gone into the studio to record a new album that will feature some of his old associates, but also some new names on the scene.
Dre, real name Andre Young, has said it's time to 'pass the baton on', and to showcase some of the up-and-coming talent, especially from the Los Angeles area.
With this in mind, he's been busy laying down beats with the likes of Big Beanz, Prince of Pokem, DJ BJ, Betsy and Booty, Cockfondler, Gladys Slagg, Titsukka, Saddle Sniffa, and Humping Dumplings, as well as his old chums, Warren G, Eminem and Snoop Dogg.
Dre will also be producing the 20-track album, which has been given the provisional title 'I'm Sophisticated, Yo Muthafuckin Bitch!'
Early reports say that this album may be Dre's last, so we can assume he means to go out on a high note, and put in as many mentions of 'fuck', 'ass', 'fuck yo in the ass', 'motherfucker', 'fuck yo mother in the ass', 'bitch', 'pussy', and so on, as is humanly possible.
The album will be issued in all formats from 1 September.
