According to news articles - Coca Cola is the main financial sponsor of the U. N. Conference on Climate Change, this November, in the Egyptian resort town of Sharm-al-sheik.
The Coca Cola Corporation - for many years has been concerned about the Environment and Climate Change - as it yearly - litters the planet with 120 billion used Plastic Coke bottles. Over the years that equals Trillions of used plastic bottles.
The Coke corporation has repeatedly promised to reduce these single use bottles - and to make them biodegradable - or do or recycling - but hasn't found it Profitable to do so yet - only having studied the problem about 70 years.
It should be an interesting Conference - the U. N. hooking up with the biggest polluter on the planet. (Pepsi is the second biggest plastics polluter).
Of course, there will be lots of Coke being served. And lots of unrecycled empties after the conference for the staff to dump in the landfills.
(And probably lots of Coke up noses - before or after the Conference).
