The White House was closed this weekend while attendants fumigated the president's offices for a pest infestation.
"We believe a visitor snuck the fruit flies in," said a spokesman. "Homeland Security is attempting to locate the man."
The worry is over remote-controlled insects that have recently been created. The dead flies found at the nation's capital will be examined for virtually undetectable implants.
Inventors of cybernetic fruit flies, Charter Industrial Applications, released a statement that they will conduct a complete inventory of their assests and offer assistance in analysis of the insects.
