JACKSON, Mississippi - (Satire News) - Well it took 162 years, but the state of Mississippi after getting tons and tons of pressure from the Federal Government has finally decided to ban the state's Confederate flag.
An attorney for the Cotton Ball state, Riley Joe "Bubba" Sockbern, 84, said that the state was totally against the ban but when told that if the state did not ban the flag all government funds, including food stamps, deodorant stamps, postage stamps, and even beer stamps would be terminiated, well sir, that pretty well lit a fire underneath the asses of the Mississippi powers that be.
So like they say in Washington, D.C. "Hey y'all don't mess with the Feds."
