Ghosts used to hurt people

In another stunning pile of stupidity the US Supreme Court ruled by a majority that good ol’ boys are allowed to parade through areas of America inhabited by people of color, sporting ghost outfits and carrying lit torches.

Ghost suits were previously banned by the Supreme Court in the famous 1973 decision Road v Way, because they are scary and remind people of the time when ghosts used to haunt poorer neighborhoods in states like Mississippi and hurt or even kill innocent people. Since ghosts could never be found, they were never brought to justice. However, in recent years, some Republican-appointed judges in the Supreme Court have expressed the view that Road v Way was wrongly decided and that ghosts should have the right to haunt people.

Judge Aberrance Thomas wrote that he’d like to see other unfair laws lifted, like the one that prevents you from killing people you don’t like, while at the same time offering more protection for ghosts. Meanwhile, Judge Thomas’ wife denied being a ghost, despite looking rather narky.

Ghosts, despite being a throwback to a past age that most people would like to forget enjoy a lot of support in US society, with 1 in 4 people having ghostly tendencies. These include making incoherent noises and wearing a dunce’s hat.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
