NEW YORK CITY – (Fake News) - Jeff Bezos, who is the richest man in the world, has just received notice that he is being sued.
The government of Brazil has informed Mr. Bezos that they do not appreciate him infringing on the Amazon name.
They informed him that the name is duly registered to the Brazilian government, and appears on everything from Amazon Brazil Nuts to Amazon Brazil Wax.
A rep for the South American country commented that the registration papers were filed on September 7, 1941, exactly 90 days before Pearl Harbor was bombed.
He went on to say that Mr. Bezos is capitalizing on the name Amazon to make billions and billions of dollars on everything from Amazon Beer to Amazon IUDs.
When Jeff Bezos was asked by CNN for a comment, he merely said that he is not worried, as he is presently in the process of buying Brazil.
