President Donald Trump is said to be in a state of meltdown, after he turned up for a White House press conference wearing blackface, and making monkey noises.
The president delivered a speech on the crisis at the Turkish border, where previously-US-backed Kurdish forces are battling IS fighters, with Turkey attacking the Kurds, leaving the whole situation 'jolly confused'.
Not President Trump, though.
He appeared in front of the massed ranks of journalists who were hoping for more barely-believable quotes, such as the one he made in a tweet, last Monday:
"... if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate..."
and so on and so on and so on.
This time, however, there was a visual aspect to consider. Trump, with his face crudely covered in boot polish, made monkey noises and held a banana above his head, whilst scratching his armpit.
He was quickly ushered out of the room by White House security staff, who confirmed later that he was "taking it easy".
Not easy enough, though.
