BILLINGSGATE POST: It’s no coincidence that President Trump’s favorite cereal is Great Britain, The Brexit Food of Champions. No wonder then, that for the past two years, he has chowed down on them. Ever since June 2016, when the UK voted to leave the European Union, he has shoveled them down his pie hole like WHEATIES.
Brexit was due to happen on March 29, 2019. That was two years after then Prime Minister Theresa May triggered Article 50 - the formal process to leave. But the date has been delayed twice.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said the UK must leave the EU on October 31. He has the encouragement of President Trump to do so. Trump despises the EU for many reasons; most of all because of the trade agreements that make it more difficult for American companies to do business in Europe.
