BILLINGSGATE POST: One day after porn star Stormy Daniels appeared on "60 Minutes" to provide intimate details of her alleged affair with Donald Trump at a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe in 2006, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that the President has decided to name Stormy Daniels as the new head of the Department of Veteran Affairs, replacing David Shulkin, who was under fire for allegedly setting up a betting scheme for wheelchair races in some of the VA hospitals.
When asked about Ms. Daniels' credentials for this important job, Huckabee responded;
"President Trump has known Stormy for over ten years. It should be no surprise that he considers her credentials impeccable. Just the fact that their alleged affair occurred over ten years ago proves that she has sufficient experience in this field. For your information, she was also being seriously considered for a position on the Joint Chiefs of Staff. You are aware, of course, that Mr. Trump had dangled an offer for her to appear on "The Apprentice" on more than one occasion. She is very talented lady."
"I'll answer one more question."
CNN Reporter Jim Acosta: "Last night, Anderson Cooper interviewed Stormy on "60 Minutes." What did you think of the interview?"
Huckabee: "I thought that Anderson should have asked her if she wanted to meet him for a cocktail after the interview. He looked like he was ready for a change of scenery."
"That's it for today."
