Members of the royal family and local security picked up the Queen yesterday after she went missing from Buckingham Palace. Palace guards reported her gone at lunch time shortly after Sunday mass.
Prince Charles and Camilla then drove round the streets of London looking for her, only to find her sitting on a pavement in Islington dressed in rags.
"She had a hood over her head and was begging for money" said a royal source "she had smeared mud over her face and was going by the name of "Greasy Jo" we grabbed and threw her in the back of the Range Rover and told her to stop leaving the palace and pretending to be a homeless person"
This isn't the first time the Queen has escaped, last year it was reported she had shaved her head and was found drinking in a pub in Wapping and was calling herself "Bruiser Bob".
"She's bored of the palace life and sometimes likes to see what its like to be a normal person"
However a Palace spokesperson said she had been given a stern warning not to do it again.
