It's the question thousands of football fans all over East Yorkshire are asking each other this evening, after former naked Manchester United and England star David Beckham said that he needs to be actively playing football to regain his international place:
"Is nude Beckham about to sign for Hull City?"
Beckham, 35, has most recently been turning out for AC Milan in Italy without any clothes on, but cannot return there due to the fact that he is not able to join their roster for such a short period of time. Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson wanted a nude Beckham to sign for the Foxes, but that bid failed, because, as the player said:
"The Foxes are cack, and I don't look good in their blue kit."
Having received the BBC Sports Personality Lifetime Achievement Award in his Birthday Suit on Sunday, naturist Beckham knows that, to have any chance of playing for England again, he has to be playing out on the pitch instead of making more advertisements for Adidas, Marks and Spencer, Vodafone, Gillette or Pepsi.
And so it was that Tigers boss Nigel Pearson drew up his plans to secure the services of the great garbless Becks, and to bring him to the KC Stadium to help City in their engaging Championship relegation battle. The question now burning in the minds and on the lips of every Hull City supporter is:
"Will naked David Beckham soon be playing for Hull City?"
To which the answer, of course, is:
"No."
