Chelsea manager Jose Moaninho and Melchester United heart throb Crustiano Retardo have entered into a war of words, the like of which, has never before been heard in Portuguese.
The young homosexual striker, who won five PFA awards last week, accused the Chelsea boss of being a liar. He also said that Moaninho was a "clever clogs" and a "failure".
Moaninho countered this by saying that Retardo himself was a fibber, and "moody", and so it went.
The argument centred on penalties, who could get them and who couldn't, and what a player had to do to earn one. Diving was discussed, as was 'endlessly appealing to the referee with arms outstretched', but, when it got dark, the two tired and went to bed sulking.
Persons of Latin extraction are prone to having blazing rows, and have been known to throw glasses of red wine over each other.
The two Portugeezers are due to face each other next Wednesday in a big game that may well decide who is the biggest liar of all.
They are expected to continue their childish spat then.
