Seven 'cave entrances' have been discovered on the surface of Mars by NASA's Odyssey space craft. The caves have excited the Scientific Community, who are very easily excited.
The caves are the only places so far that are believed to be capable of protecting lifeforms from the extremes of the Red Planet's surface. The obvious conclusion... Martian Bears.
According to an official NASA statement "The possibility of life on another planet, in Bear form, is the type of exciting discovery that should see trillions of dollars poured into the space program."
NASA hope to send an Earth bear to Mars as soon as possible in the hope of it being able to communicate with the Martian Bears.
According to one NASA scientist, "The ramifications of an Earth Bear communicating with those on the Red Planet would be incredible. If we can then learn to communicate ourselves, with the Earth bear, think of what it could tell us."
Of course, this isn't the only discovery on Mars recently. The finding of frozen water at the South Pole of Mars also has NASA buzzing.
"Just think..." said the same NASA scientist "..Martian Polar Bears!"
