There's nothing funny about the image of Sesame Street's Big Bird with a sniffle.
From Daffy Duck to Donald, famous birds the world over are calling in sick, many of them stuck in bed with hot chicken soup and other recipes involving cannibalism.
Foghorn Leghorn, his face stuck in a humidifier, released a statement today saying he suspected 'fowl' play. He was later beaten for the joke... and his racist beliefs.
But it's not just sniffles and a slight cough, birds are dying. Early this morning Huey, Dewey and Louie were tragically reduced to just Dewey.
"Of course I miss them..." Dewey said, "...they were my brothers. But look, I stand to inherit a lot from a certain uncle who's pretty old, and with them out of the picture I'm going to be swimming in it."
