With Kanye West's much anticipated Yeezy Season 3 set to be unveiled this Thursday, the first groups of teenagers are putting up their tents in preparation for the gruelling queues, whilst Yeezy retailers eagerly await the influx of spotty, prepubescent 'hypebeasts' ready to bestow their pocket money towards $200 camouflage tees.
Though little is known so far, one rumour has been all but confirmed - the Season 3 runway show will be the first ever to feature models born with the Zika virus; the virus recently gained notoriety following the declaration of an 'international public health emergency' by the WHO, with the virus causing severe birth defects, most notably distinctive small heads among newborns.
An insider from the DONDA team told us "we forecast Zika rights becoming the transgender-sized elephant in the room for the post millennial generation, and Kanye being the first person to acknowledge that will speak volumes and hopefully see a huge spike in sneaker sales, particularly among the growing Zika community."
One Twitter user @ShareeceLeboeuf tweeted, "Zika is a pandemic and Kanye's about to spread pandemonium" elsewhere in the Twittersphere the hashtag #OnZik gained traction, being posted over 2000 times since Saturday.
