Love him or hate him, but most everyone knows he regularly compares himself to Jesus, Einstein, and Da Vinci among others. Kanye West, in a new interview with Digital Underground Music Productions, takes credit for Donald Trump's run for president, and even compares himself to Genghis Khan.
"Jesus spoke truth to power", the music mogul and now fashion designer said to the internet audience on the weekly music and news program, "and that's what I've been doing, so just as Jesus paved the way for me, I've paved the way for Donald Trump." When asked by his interviewers if that was an endorsement of Trump, the self proclaimed genius, and now apparent Kingmaker, snapped back, "I just said I readied the way for him didn't I?"
Later when asked about his failing fashion lines of clothing, he criticized the shows hosts for not wearing any of his stuff. That prompted a heated argument with main host, MJ Toke, about the "success" of Kanye's attempts at designing.
To end the show, host MJ popped the big question to Kanye: "You've mentioned running for president in the past, do you still have political ambitions, will we see a Kanye for president campaign in the future?"
Kanye seemed ready with an answer, but took his time, "Well, I don't know about political, MJ, it's more like..." the outspoken rapper was quiet for a moment, "I'm more like Genghis Khan, I'm just gonna take over."
