King Charles III has said he will visit Austin during their Willie Nelson Music Jamboree Festival.

AUSTIN, Texas - (Satire News) - Tabloid Today writer Papaya Bamboo, has just broken the story that the late Queen Elizabeth bequeathed $7 million to the city of Austin.

Miss Bamboo set out to find out why an English monarch had left such a huge amount of money to the city of Austin.

After exhausting several possibilities, she decided to contact Andy Cohen, who is known as the American information guru.

Cohen got back to Miss Bamboo within 30 minutes. He told her that back in 2000, the Austin City Council voted to name Queen Elizabeth as an Honorary Citizen of Austin.

The council picked her majesty because of all the humanitarian work she had done for the citizens of Texas during several devastating hurricanes that had made landfaill in the the Lone Star state.

SIDENOTE: Austin Mayor Steve "Tex" Adler is having a bronze statue of Queen Elizabeth sitting on her favorite fox hunt horse "Buffy" made and it will sit in downtown Austin, next to the statues of Willie Nelson and Sandra Bullock.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
