Dear Diary,

Today I went out and bought a bird feeder. That's funny because I have plenty of money but I remember being poor at one time so I'm still in the habit of saving money.

Mom loved the bird feeder but asked me why I bought her one.

I told her she we had about half a dozen Manx (tailless)cats she treats better than me and I thought getting a bird feeder would save us some money in cat food.

I was told that HER cats only ate special food.

Do I set the bird feeder high on some blocks.

At least the poor cats will get some exercise jumping at the birds.

I need to be writing songs, not fooling with Mom's cats.
