Sources within the Bush administration speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed today that a Bible presented to The President on 9/12/2001 by the US Department of Faith was in fact one of several misprints slated for disposal.
The Bible is reported to have contained only The Old Testament, which sources say provided President Bush strength and inspiration after the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. The Old Testament has been publicly demonized by anti-Christian groups as 'violent and immoral' and many have pointed to 'disturbing similarities' between Bush administration policy and that of the God of the Old Testament. They assert this is evidenced in the state of current Global affairs.
The US Dept of Faith reissued a new Bible to be presented at the 2008 National Prayer Breakfast by The Fellowship, a controversial Christian political organization linked with Bush and members of Congress.
