A man has revealed how, whilst minding his own business on the internet, he was bluntly, and rather inexplicably, asked if he was, by any chance, the child of a holocaust survivor.

The man, who is not the child of a holocaust survivor, queried the appropriateness of the advert directed at him whilst he was perusing the pages of satirical news website, TheSpoof.com this morning.

Moys Kenwood, 56, said:

"I was just looking around the site to see what was what, and this great, big banner advert appeared at the top of the page, querying whether or not my parents had survived the holocaust. I did not find this funny in the least."

He imagined, he said, that the request was in connection with the upcoming International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which will be on Monday January 27, 2020, and not, in any way, with some seedy business service that makes compensation claims on behalf of anyone who is the child of a holocaust survivor.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
