A man who says he was, quite frankly, knackered after a hard day at work, made what might turn out to be a catastrophic error tonight, when he posted a picture of his tea to satirical news website, TheSpoof.com, instead of its intended destination, Facebook.
Moys Kenwood, 56, arrived home to the news that chicken and mashed potatoes was to be served not thirty minutes hence, and the exhausted teacher headed for a much-needed shower.
The din-din, when it appeared on its plate in front of him, was a sight for sore eyes, served with cucumbers and basil leaves. Delighted, he took a photo with his phone, and posted it to what he thought was Facebook.
Sadly, his tiredness had got the better of him, and instead of the social media platform, he had sent it to the relentlessly unforgiving critical eyes of the readers of The Spoof.
He said:
"It was all done in the blink of an eye. Facebook readers can be spiteful and cutting with their remarks, but TheSpoof.com is a cauldron. I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I'm hopeful, without being confident."
For dessert, he had some ice cream, and rounded the meal off with a cup of strong tea and a biscuit - pictures not available.
