Danny Baker, the former BBC radio presenter, sacked by the BBC on Thursday for tweeting an inappropriate picture of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan with a chimp, says he is giving "serious consideration" to an invitation to join satirical news website TheSpoof.com.

Baker, 61, has now been canned by the Beeb thrice, and was invited to become a Spoof writer by the site's owner, Mark Lowton, earlier today. The chirpy Baker asked for a reasonable amount of time to mull the proposition over before he makes a final decision.

The Millwall fan said he'd get back to us in about ten minutes.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
