Washington, DC In a surprising development, the Republican Party, instead of denouncing the terrorist group, the Guardians of Peace, for terrorist threats, the Republicans have instead sued them in the World Court for copyright infringement for using their trademarked initials GOP.
The Guardians of Peace (GOP) threatened to bomb or otherwise harm movie theaters in the United States screening the movie "The Interview" with two Americans attempting to assassinate the very respected, roly-poly Kim Jong Un, hereditary dictator of North Korea.
Apparently, the majority political party was enraged that a terrorist group would use their initials. The Speaker of the House, Republican John Boehner, said "We will not allow this atrocity, to use our sacred initials to conduct a terrorist operation of a movie I didn't even want to see!"
