ROME - El Vino, Italy's national news agency is reporting that the Italian government has agreed to a compromise with Pope Francis.
The pope who says he has no problem with gays or lesbians and has actually attended parties in their honor recently asked that the Italian government please take down all of the anti-gay signs that are literally plastered everywhere.
Pope Francis said that he has traveled all over the world and he has never seen so much anti-fairy sentiment as he has in Italy.
El Vino reported that the Italian government was not happy about the pope sticking his nose in their business but in the interest of keeping the Vatican happy they have agreed to a compromise in the matter
Italy will begin taking down all anti-gay signs that are within a 4 block radius of the Vatican.
SIDENOTE: Upon learning of Italy's offer, Pope Francis shook his head and replied, "Hey, what the heck can I say? At least it's a darn start.
