Sarah Palin chose all American good girl, Paris Hilton, little known on the national stage, as her vice-presidential running mate -- a surprise stroke aimed at attracting Hillary Clinton supporters, but which could bolster the campaign's key theme of experience.
"She has a bucket load of experience" Governor Palin told assembled reporters, as they stood open mouthed at the announcement earlier today.
Palin passed over many high-profile, more conventional choices for the job, turning to a woman whose solid conservative positions thrilled the Republicans to their base.
"As we all know" continued the presidential hopeful "You meet a lot of complete dicks on the road to the White House and I have it on good authority that Paris knows how to handle them."
