Meatsack Paris Hilton, the socialite who has no discernable characteristic that would elevate her above, say, plankton, on the evolutionary ladder, was arrested on Friday in Las Vegas for cocaine possession. But, she has absolutely nothing to worry about.

This case will never, ever make it to trial.

According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel. The driver was arrested for DUI and when cops searched Hilton, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.

The problem for cops and prosecutors is the Terry violation.

Terry v. Ohio was a decision by the United States Supreme Court, cutting the balls out of the Fourth Amendment's prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures. Terry held that the Constitution is not violated when a police officer stops a suspect on the street and searches him without probable cause to arrest, if the police officer has a reasonable suspicion that the person has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime.

It's all about the cops protecting themselves: Despite what the cop who is mow detaining you may say, the only thing that the cops should be doing with an initial search is making sure a detainee is not about to pull a Sig Sauer and send a hunk of metal on a one-way trip through your brain. They are not supposed to look for evidence against you.

So, Paris is removed from the car: At this time, a cop can do a Terry patdown. But the moment they poked around in her bag, they overstepped Terry and violated Paris' right against unlawful search and seizure.

So, after all this bullsh-t, Paris' lawyer will state that the cops overstepped when checking her bag. The prosecution will argue that the yummy, delicious cocaine was in 'plain sight', which gives police probable cause to seize without a warrant.

It'll fail miserably, and they'll dismiss. They have to. And she'll be right back where she was two days ago...

... a young girl with a substance abuse problem who hasn't learned her lesson, even after multiple arrests, and even jail. But, because she doesn't (yet) look like a giant crackhead like Lindsay Lohan, no one is going to stop her from descending into the muscles.

I hope she gets straight.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
