Bitter Democratic Party rivals Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are to join forces and fight the Republican Party in next year's Presidential campaign as a unique double act, says a leaked memo.
Mrs Clinton made the astonishing announcement at a rally in Washington where she addressed her supporters and told them that she had "no choice, because the other guy is going to win".
The pair, who have hitherto professed to hate each other, have now patched up their differences, and agreed to form the unlikely double act to fight Republican presidential candidate John McCain, 104, in the race to the White House.
The two met up this morning for a photo shoot and held hands to indicate that the Democratic Party has not split down the middle, and that everything is just fine. Party supporters whooped and cheered until bedtime.
