Washington - U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and his Committee Chairman of the Judiciary Jim Jordan announced the formation of a select committee to investigate allegations of excessive investigations taking place in Washington D.C.
Republicans Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz and George “I am Spartacus” Santos all signed up to become involved in the new committee.
“There are about thirty investigations going on right now in the U.S. Congress and we have to find out why” said Gaetz.
“If we can’t find out the answers to our questions we may have to start another committee to investigate the investigation committee” added Jordan.
