Democrat presidential nominee, Joe Biden, has bizarrely endorsed his Republican rival, Donald Trump, for president.
Campaigning in Toledo, Ohio, on Tuesday, Biden provided the President with more fodder as to his mental capacity to become president when he addressed United Auto Workers, who represent a local General Motors powertrain plant.
Biden spoke in a parking lot with about 30 American-made cars and trucks arrayed nearby.
'You know, we have to come together. That's why I'm endorsing Donald Trump for president. I'm running as a proud Democrat for vice-president, me as VP and Donald as president; we are the dream ticket. So, I ask you all, vote, vote, vote! Vote for Trump. A vote for Trump is a vote for me," Biden said.
The former vice-president is actually running AGAINST Trump and not with him.
Biden appeared to make another gaffe on the tarmac, appearing to forget that he wasn't wearing any trousers.
'I'm wearing slacks, right? I put them on this morning, didn't I?' he said.
Trump seized on Biden's gaffes, tweeting: 'Biden NOT wearing pants...AGAIN. Bad for nation. Thinks he's running with me. Forgot trousers, and what he is running for!'
