DOVER – The Biden campaign has taken a new approach in the presidential campaign. Citing news overload in recent years, he has promised a few days of slow news.
“By our records, the last slow news day in the US was March 23, 2015. Between Covid, Brexit, and Trump, there have been nothing but avalanches of news. With me in the White House, I assure you, there will be a slow news day at least once a quarter. It might just be a Friday in August, but we will get that to you,” said Biden.
“I will not fire intelligence officials, promote Neo-Nazis or suggest that anyone drink bleach. Hell, I’ll even shut down my twitter account,” promised the Democratic nominee.
Presidential experts expect that Biden could bring a new period of slow news not seen since the Eisenhower years.
