Lila Blossom, who began providing sexual services to men in exchange for money at the age of 16, and now, at the age of 32, heads the Lotus Blossom Massage Cooperative in Harlem, New York, recently decided to offer lip service to feminism by officially opening up her company's customer base to women, who now have the option of paying to receive oral sex, among other offerings.
"It's not just men who should be able to access quality sex services," said Blossom, who is adamant about her view that accessibility to a full array of sexual pleasures is a feminist issue. "It's critical to offer lip service to women, by women - wherever on their bodies they prefer."
Blossom explained that her interest in female empowerment was triggered when she witnessed a trans-gender lesbian unsuccessfully attempt to solicit sexual services from a female sex worker. "I never want anyone to have to go through that again," she said. "Not on my watch."
Now that Blossom's company has done so with feminism, the forward-thinking entrepreneur says that she is additionally considering offering lip service to political correctness. "Those people are so annoying!" she said. "But they have needs, too."
