President Donald Trump was made to suffer further embarrassment this afternoon when, having taken to Airforce One, and flown to within 3 miles of North Sentinel, the flight had to turn back, when it was discovered the island had no international airport.
Trump had gone to the Andaman island to 'rescue' the murdered missionary, John Allen Chau, who had foolishly tried to speak to the Sentinelese about Christianity. Not only were they not interested, they thought he was there to provide target practice for their archers.
Trump tweeted:
"What kind of a place doesn't even have an airport? Or a golf course? I've been advised that their infrastructure hasn't changed for thousands of years! Imagine how backward they must be!"
The president also said that three US warships were on their way to the island, and fighter jets could be scrambled from bases in the Philippines, should the need to annihilate the idyllic location arise.
