The Queen has unusually chosen to speak out following Donald Trump's accusation that she was fifteen minutes late for her meeting with the United States President.
In a statement read out by a Buckingham Palace spokesman, it was revealed that the Queen was in the State Room for a full fifteen minutes actually hiding from the POTUS. It is thought that her majesty was hoping that Trump would get bored and leave. When it became clear that he was staying, she came out of her hiding place behind a state sofa and introduced herself.
A palace insider has revealed that a lady in waiting was dismissed for making the fatal error of leaving biscuits out, as the Queen is convinced that had the "Rich Tea" biscuits not been available, the POTUS would have left.
The lady in waiting, herself, was adamant that President Trump had noticed a corgi sniffing round the state sofa, and discovered the Queen curled into a ball on the other side. Her excuse that she was looking for a jewel lost from a tiara in 1927, was accepted by Trump who helped her up and offered her a biscuit.
