The heads of the Republicans and Scamatology today held a joint press conference to announce their merger.
"We were so close in ideology already, it seemed like a good savings of resources to just combine" said the Scamatology head, Davey Makeafist.
"The Scamatologists have a lot of experience harassing people, and some very sophisticated methods we would like to incorporate" spoke the Republicans.
"Both of our groups have one main goal in common--make lots of money while taking it from people less fortunate or too stupid to hold on to it" said another Republican.
"And both of our groups know how to screw people over without them even realizing it, and in most instances, thanking us for it!" laughed the assemblage.
It seems that the more money you can scheme and steal, the higher up you are in the Republicanology pyramid.
