HOLLYWOOD - Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi recently purchased a statue from the city of Yuma, Arizona.
The statue depicts three lesbianites hugging one another. The city of Yuma was instructed by Governor Jan Brewer to either destroy the statue or sell it.
Brewer commented that gay and lesbianite statues are prohibited from being exhibited anywhere within the state of Arizona.
And so the city was faced with either selling it or having the statue destroyed. But luckily for the city and of course the statue Hollywood talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi said that they would buy it.
The lesbian couple has told reporters that they plan on donating the Statue of The Three Hugging Lesbianites to the city of San Francisco.
SIDENOTE: Reports coming out of the City by The Bay are that Ellen has become so popular due to her unselfish donation that she could most probably be elected mayor of San Francisco if she decided to run.
