BUNKERVILLE, Nevada - Cliven Bundy is a weathered old coot whose family and friends say hardly ever smiles.
But the old codger managed to work up a smile after opening up a present that was sent to him by his new best friend Jan Brewer, governor of Arizona.
Bundy told the news media that Janny had given him a silver plated rodeo belt buckle with an engraved bucking bronco.
When one of the news reporters informed Bundy that the bronco was a gelding he looked down at the belt buckle and got plum embarrassed.
"Damn, well fellers, it sure nuff be a gelding alright." He commented.
He then said that no matter what, it's the friggin thought that counts and as far as he's concerned it's a wonderful gift.
SIDENOTE: When Cliven was asked what he thought about 69-year-old Governor Brewer he blushed, spit out some chewing tobacco, and said, "Well I'm still a little on the frisky side and I find the little lady to be dadgum pretty as hell mmmm-mmmm."
